Job Title: System Administrator (24/7 Support) Location: Remote (with initial onsite training in Huntsville, AL) Job Type: Full-time Shift Options: Monday to Thursday: 5 PM

- 7 AM Friday to Sunday: 5 PM
- 6 AM or 5 AM
- 6 PM Duration: This role has an anticipated duration of 12 months, but there may be an opportunity for extension or taking on a new position upon completion. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and maintain system performance to ensure data flow continuity. Participate in ongoing training and development to stay updated on technology trends and best practices. Diagnose and resolve network issues, optimizing performance and reliability. Troubleshoot and maintain Linux servers, ensuring system integrity and uptime. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in real-time. Monitor and manage video feed distribution, focusing on unicast and multicast protocols. Document troubleshooting processes and system configurations for future reference. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required; however, relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree. Preferred 3+ years of related experience. Proven troubleshooting skills in networking environments. Strong troubleshooting skills in Linux environments. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively. Familiarity with common operating systems (Linux, Windows, macOS) and software applications. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Ability to pass a stringent background check. Nice to Have: Experience with version control systems such as GitLab. Familiarity with project management tools like Jira and Confluence. Knowledge of containerization technologies, including Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift. Experience with tools like Python, Bash, and YAML Experience working with on-premises bare metal systems. Training Requirements: Candidates must be available for 4 weeks of onsite training in Huntsville, AL, prior to transitioning to remote work. Additional onsite training may be required as necessary.
