Description
We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to join our team in Carlsbad, California. In this role, you will be tasked with managing and developing cloud infrastructures, as well as troubleshooting and resolving any related issues. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment and requires a strong understanding of cloud technologies and systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage cloud systems using Azure, Hyper V/VMWare, PowerShell, Terraform, and Azure DevOps.
- Handle storage management tasks efficiently.
- Support an enterprise-level company with thousands of VMs and a data center.
- Utilize skills in Amazon CloudWatch, Amazon EC2, Ansible, Atlassian Jira, Auto Scaling, API Development, Automation, AWS Technologies, Backup Technologies, and Cluster Analysis.
- Work with DevOps tools to automate and streamline operations and processes.
- Ensure the security and compliance of the cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement cloud strategies.
- Troubleshoot any issues related to the cloud infrastructure.
- Continuously update and improve our cloud infrastructure as needed.
Requirements
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or in a similar role
- Demonstrated expertise in Amazon CloudWatch, Amazon EC2, and Ansible
- Proficiency in Atlassian Jira, Auto Scaling, API Development, and Automation
- Proven knowledge in AWS Technologies and Backup Technologies
- Experience with Cluster Analysis
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred
- Relevant certifications in cloud technologies will be considered an advantage
