Overview
One of the world’s largest Oil and Gas Services companies is hiring for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their most innovative division focused on progressing the company’s digital transformation. The Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for implementing cloud solutions across the organization’s business units. This individual must be very experienced with different cloud technologies in order to assist teams with transforming their on-premise solutions to cloud solutions. This individual must be able to influence other teams and drive them toward appropriate technical solutions that they may not be familiar with.
Qualifications
- 10+ years working with information technology
- 2+ years working with cloud technology
- Experienced in cloud technologies, especially Azure
- Experienced in DevOps methodologies, especially terraform and ADO
- Strong interpersonal and consultative skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar field of study
Experience
- Experience with consultative roles
- Experience with transformations from traditional software to cloud native
- Experience with transformations from traditional operational methodologies to DevOps
- Experience with Agile development practices
