Description
At SAIC, we are committed to designing, deploying, operating, and maintaining secure Cloud products and services within a Cloud-based environment to enable development teams to deliver features efficiently. We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an entry level DevSecOps Engineer Associate.
As a DevSecOps Engineer Associate at SAIC, you will play a crucial role in supporting the design, deployment, operation, and maintenance of secure Cloud products and services. You will contribute to the maintenance and ongoing development of continuous build/integration infrastructure, provide Source Control Management/Documentation, and assist in creating and maintaining fully automated CI build processes for multiple environments. Additionally, you will support CI/CD tools integration, operations, change management, and maintenance, ensuring full automation of CI/testing processes. You will work closely with software developers, production support, and information security teams to automate and support infrastructure and tooling in cloud-based platforms. Your role will involve providing guidance and applying agile and DevOps/DevSecOps practices to streamline product delivery and ensure reliable operations. Continuous identification of opportunities to automate tasks and improve efficiency will also be a key aspect of your responsibilities.
This position can be worked remote from anywhere within the U.S. for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, deploying, operating, and maintaining secure Cloud products and services within a Cloud-based environment.
- Support the maintenance and ongoing development of continuous build/integration infrastructure.
- Assist in Source Control Management/Documentation and participate in creating and maintaining fully automated CI build processes for multiple environments; assist in writing, building, and deploying scripts.
- Support CI/CD tools integration, operations, change management, and maintenance.
- Assist in supporting full automation of CI/testing.
- Support policies, standards, guidelines, governance, and related guidance for both CI/CD operations and developer work.
- Support successful release management by assisting in moving code from Development and Testing environments to Staging and Production.
- Collaborate with software developers, production support, and information security to automate and support infrastructure and tooling in cloud-based platforms.
- Provide support and assist in applying agile and DevOps/DevSecOps practices to streamline product delivery and reliable operations.
- Assist in identifying opportunities to automate tasks and save time.
Qualifications
- Candidates must be currently enrolled in a Bachelors Degree program in Computer Science or a related engineering field and graduating in May 2025.
- U.S. citizen and able to obtain a Secret clearance.
- 0-2 Years of experience in IT or computer Science field.

- Willingness to contribute to routine technical tasks and work collaboratively within a team.
Target salary range $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
