Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- 8+ years manufacturing industry and 5+ years of leadership (director-level or higher) experience.
- PEMB manufacturing and detailing experience is HIGHLY preferred.
Based in Colorado, we are a leading pre-engineered metal manufacturer that specializes in designing, engineering, and delivering high-quality steel buildings. Due to recent growth, we are seeking an experienced Vice President of Engineering with PEMB and detailing experience to join our leadership team. This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing (or a related field), 8+ years manufacturing industry and 5+ years of leadership (director-level or higher) experience.
Position Overview
The VP of Engineering & Detailing will be responsible for leading the engineering department, overseeing the detailing process, and ensuring the successful execution of manufacturing projects. This role requires a strategic leader who can drive innovation, enhance operational efficiency, and foster a culture of excellence within the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing the master detailing and engineering schedule.
- Managing budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation to optimize manufacturing operations.
- Align engineering and detailing strategies with overall business goals in collaboration with other senior leaders.
- Collaborating with various departments (ex. sales, operations, project management, engineering/detailing, manufacturing, etc.) to set up assignments/tasks/subtasks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- 8+ years manufacturing industry and 5+ years of leadership (director-level or higher) experience.

- PEMB manufacturing
- Detailing
- AutoCAD
- MBS
- Master of Business Administration (MBA), or similar advanced degree
