What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Coordinate with technical teams and business units to ensure compliance with NERC CIP standards
- Conduct technical oversight visits and provide recommendations to site leadership
- Analyze security assessments and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve compliance issues
- Lead cyber security incident reporting and response planning to meet compliance standards
- Support disaster recovery programs related to NERC CIP compliance
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- Bachelor of Science Degree with 5 to 8 years of experience in security assessments, investigations, or incident response
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in security assessments/investigations or related fields
- Knowledge of internal control frameworks (e.g., Cobit or COSO) and cybersecurity best practices
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and consulting skills with excellent communication abilities
- Ability to create and deliver presentations and security guideline documents
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Graduate degree in cyber security or a related field
- Relevant security certifications (CISA, CISSP, CISM, etc.)
- Experience with NERC CIP standards and requirements
- Expertise in data analysis, investigations, and network security engineering principles
- Understanding of system hardening processes and evidence collection for audits
