Description
Responsibilities:
- Administer and manage routers, switches, and firewalls to ensure optimal network performance.
- Implement network security protocols and practices to safeguard the company's data and network systems.
- Utilize network monitoring tools for constant supervision of the network and timely troubleshooting.
- Manage cloud networking across various platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Use your problem-solving skills to resolve complex network issues.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
- Leverage your knowledge of Cisco Routers, Cisco Technologies, EO/IR systems, Firewall Technologies, and Microsoft Active Directory.
- Utilize Backup Technologies and Configuration Management to maintain and support the network infrastructure.
- Use your design skills to improve and optimize network system designs.
- Perform hardware maintenance and upgrades as required to ensure network efficiency.
Requirements
- Applicant must possess strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Cisco Routers and Cisco Technologies.
- Proficiency in EO/IR systems is required.
- Must demonstrate expertise in Firewall Technologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft technologies and Active Directory is essential.
- Prior experience with Backup Technologies is a must.
- Should have a good understanding of Computer Hardware.
- Demonstrable experience in Configuration Management is necessary.
- Must have a solid background in Design.
- The ability to troubleshoot network issues promptly and effectively.
- Should have the ability to maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments.
- The applicant must be able to ensure the optimal performance of the network by monitoring and making necessary adjustments.
- Should be capable of planning, coordinating, and implementing network security measures.
- Must have the ability to research and make recommendations on network products, services, protocols, and standards in support of network procurement and development efforts.
- The applicant should be able to work in a team and coordinate with other IT professionals to ensure efficient network operations.
