Linux Systems Administrator
Our client, a leading organization in the Retail and Consumer Goods industries, is seeking a
Linux Systems Administrator to join their team.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical troubleshooting skills, excellent communication, and the ability to prioritize and work independently, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Description
What’s the Job?
- Monitor and manage enterprise-critical server platforms (both virtual and physical).
- Provide technical troubleshooting and vendor case management.
- Set up user accounts, manage file permissions, and audit security.
- Performance monitoring and tuning of corporate systems.
- Administer and troubleshoot Linux-based systems and applications.
What’s Needed?
- 3-5+ years of Linux Systems Administration experience in a corporate environment.
- Deep competency in Linux operating systems, networking, and authentication protocols.
- Familiarity with Windows server operating systems and enterprise backup management.
- Experience with Oracle databases, troubleshooting, and systems performance monitoring tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment with strong problem-solving skills.
