Job Overview
We are on the lookout for a dedicated and knowledgeable Level 2 IT Specialist to become a vital member of our innovative IT team. In this mid-level technical position, you will play a key role in delivering advanced technical assistance to our executive team, IT department, and important stakeholders. Your specialized skills will be essential in optimizing and maintaining the technical systems and tools that enable our operations to function seamlessly. This role is particularly suited for individuals who excel in a cooperative setting and possess a solid background in IT support, system architecture, integrations, migrations, automations, and advanced networking.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding in-house and remote technical assistance to our workforce and partners, handling escalated issues from Level 1 IT Specialists.
- Diagnose and resolve complex IT issues related to hardware, software, and networking.
- Research, configure, and maintain a variety of software tools utilized throughout the organization.
- Maintain and improve documented processes to ensure they remain in line with current technology standards.
- Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry developments to inform future IT strategies.
- Collaborate with IT leadership to design and sustain robust system architecture, including cloud computing resource deployment and Infrastructure as Code development.
- Support organizational leadership in establishing workflow automations and advanced configurations within various software systems.
- Contribute to upholding high technical security standards, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and SOC-2 requirements.
Required Skills
- Proficient in key technology environments, including Windows, macOS, Linux, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, Adobe products, Slack, and Zoom.
- Strong knowledge of networking and system administration, particularly with Local Area Network (LAN) configuration and physical network setup.
- Basic understanding of software coding, scripting, and cloud architecture.
- Solid foundational knowledge of IT principles.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
- 2-5 years of full-time experience in a related IT field.
