Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Windows Network Engineer to take charge of our Windows 10 desktop environment, Intune systems, and various supporting infrastructures. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize the Windows 10 desktop environment alongside Intune, ensuring the seamless operation of key applications including Trend Micro Antivirus, Zscaler Client Connector, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Adobe Acrobat DC, Microsoft 365 Suite, and TeamViewer.
- Oversee Azure Active Directory management, including user and group account administration, updates to Group Policy Objects (GPO), and the execution of PowerShell scripts to enhance functionality.
- Set up and maintain systems by configuring devices for domain integration, installing Windows 10⁄11 through Autopilot, and updating asset inventory sheets to reflect management changes.
- Administer and maintain network devices, including Wi-Fi infrastructure, routers, switches, cameras, and firewalls, ensuring efficient policy management and performance.
- Provide tiered help desk support by effectively managing service requests and incident tickets, while generating reports on resolutions.
- Employ advanced troubleshooting techniques to resolve issues related to internet connectivity, operating systems, network complications, and VOIP challenges.
Required Skills
- Extensive experience (5-9 years) in Windows 10 support and proficiency in Azure Active Directory management, including account setup and user group management.
- Solid expertise in Microsoft Intune, encompassing endpoint, application, and security policy creation, Autopilot configuration, and enterprise application support.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Exchange.
- Knowledge of network device management, particularly with Meraki and Cisco technologies.
- Strong communication skills to provide effective end-user support and collaboration with team members.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5-9 years of hands-on experience in desktop and network support roles.
- Proficiency in managing Microsoft Intune and related technologies.
- Experience with hardware desktop builds and asset management is essential.
- Basic understanding of SQL databases is preferred.
