Role : Benchling System Admin
Duration : Long term Contract
Location : Cambridge MA 02167 (Hybrid)
Description :
Maintain and enhance the reliability, security, and efficiency of IT systems. This includes:
- System upgrades: Leading and managing system upgrades, migrations, and integrations
- Security: Developing and enforcing policies for network and endpoint security
- IT infrastructure: Working with the Business Technology
- team to align IT infrastructure with business strategies
- Endpoint management: Maintaining and enhancing endpoint management tools
- Automation: Implementing and maintaining automated IAM solutions
- Mentoring: Mentoring junior engineers and peers
Other responsibilities of a system administrator include:
- Installing, configuring, and upgrading software and hardware
- Troubleshooting and providing technical support
- Monitoring system performance
- Ensuring the security and efficiency of IT infrastructure
- Establishing and testing disaster recovery policies and procedures
- Completing back-ups
- Must have exp The right person should have quite the experience working on building out data models and associated templates in Benchling.
