We’re looking for an experienced IT Manager who will lead our IT department and ensure the reliable, secure, and efficient operation of our company’s IT systems.
Job Summary:
As an IT Manager, you will oversee all technology operations within the company and manage the IT team to implement, support, and optimize IT infrastructure, data management, and software solutions. Your goal will be to ensure the seamless operation of our IT environment, including storage systems, data security protocols, and client software. You will be a key player in planning technology strategies aligned with our business goals and support the implementation of new IT initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of IT professionals, including system administrators, network engineers, and helpdesk support staff.
- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment, setting goals and objectives for the team.
- IT Infrastructure Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of all IT systems, including data storage, cloud infrastructure, and network security.
- Manage data backup, recovery processes, and storage optimization to ensure data integrity and system reliability.
- Implement and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with security and data protection regulations.
- Project Management:
- Lead IT-related projects from conception through execution, coordinating with stakeholders to meet business requirements.
- Oversee deployment of software updates, hardware maintenance, and other technology solutions to improve workflow and support company growth.
- Security & Risk Management:
- Ensure robust cybersecurity measures are in place, including firewalls, antivirus software, and data encryption.
- Monitor for security incidents, respond to IT emergencies, and implement disaster recovery plans.
- Technical Support:
- Provide hands-on support to troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical issues in a timely manner.
- Oversee helpdesk operations to ensure staff receives timely and effective support.
- Vendor & Budget Management:
- Work with vendors to procure IT equipment and services, manage contracts, and maintain productive relationships.
- Develop and manage the IT budget, including forecasting needs for hardware, software, and staffing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Proven experience as an IT Manager or in a similar leadership role within the tech industry.
- Strong knowledge of data storage systems, network infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
- Hands-on experience with various IT and data management platforms (e.g., VMware, AWS, SAN/NAS storage).
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Effective communication skills and ability to interact with both technical and non-technical team members.
