The Opportunity
Our client is seeking its first full-time Infrastructure Engineer to join their fast growing team. The ideal candidate is an infrastructure or systems generalist, eager to work on sensitive, high-performance financial technology that demands 5+ 9's of reliability. In this role, you will: Establish foundational infrastructure best practices and architecture Develop and own the team's DevOps processes Ensure the security, reliability, and monitoring of critical production systems.
Required:
- 3+ years of experience developing and maintaining production-grade software systems, ideally in Rust, C++, C, or Golang, with an emphasis on producing high-quality, well-documented code.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Unix systems and DevOps best practices.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
- A proven track record of initiative, with a willingness to tackle both technical and non-technical challenges, and a strong team-oriented approach.
- Passion for decentralized finance (DeFi).
Preferred:
- Experience working with blockchain technology.
- Background in quantitative trading or fintech.
