Conditions of Employment

- This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code 651 and 652, proficiency level Advanced. The incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport.
- You may be required to obtain nuclear worker qualifications to perform Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program work.
- You are expected to understand the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program and the protection of Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information (NNPI).
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
providing expert knowledge in and demonstrating practices of Information Technology and Cyber Security Administration, Risk Management Framework (RMF), communicating/managing projects from inception through completion to attain an Authority to Operate (ATO) for assigned networks; preparing reports on CS and Cyper Operational Readiness Assessment results; mastery of security controls, security assessments, network architecture, RMF documentation, and communication coordination across multiple agencies.
Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.

This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area ENTERPRISE ARCHITECTURE AND SECURITY ARCHITECT level ADVANCED/EXPERT within 12 months of appointment.

This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
PPP applicants will be placed at the FPL, if determined Well Qualified (WQ). To receive priority consideration, the FPL must be the same grade level or equivalent of the retained grade or the grade held immediately prior to separation.
