Schneider Electric IT Corporation seeks a Senior Global Product Manager - Business Power Products in Andover, MA.
Job Description: Lead the research, design, developing and testing of groundbreaking electrical business power products. Drive business growth through the development and management of power products to support IT equipment and focus on high growth areas like Edge Computing, Tethered Cloud, Hyper Converged Infrastructure, Digital Transformation, IoT and Artificial Intelligence. Using technical background, work cross functionally within the organization, and with partners and customers, to identify new product development opportunities, create a business case in support of the project, work with Engineering through the development cycle and then lead the Marketing and Sales teams in launching the product to market upon completion. In the new Agile framework, work closely with the team to develop products using the Agile Methodology. Position eligible for remote work up to 2 days per week. 15% travel required (5% Domestic, 10% international), to customer locations, design centers, and factories in the USA, India, Taiwan, and the Philippines.
Requirements: Position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-bachelor's experience in engineering, product management, offer management, product development, or related occupation, which must include at least some experience in the following skills: Data center and Edge computing applications; Power availability/protection industry product development; Launching product in international markets; Managing sizable portfolio of electrical products and launching new models in new markets; Market segmentation and analysis; Developing and conducting voice of customer surveys and interviews and extrapolating the results to develop engineering specifications; and Developing business cases to justify investment and quantify ROI and Payback.
