Technical Source is currently looking for a SOC Analyst I for our IT Solutions client in Raleigh, NC. The ideal candidate will have experience within Information Technology and a basic knowledge of Cyber Security. This is a 6-Month Contract to Hire.

Responsibilities of the SOC Analyst I include:

Prioritizing security alerts and monitoring and triaging these alerts to SOC Analyst II or Senior SOC Analyst
Identify customer issues in a timely manner and assist or escalate upwards
Engage in customer interaction verbally and written communication on a daily basis
Ability to work any shift within 24x7x365 SOC

Qualifications of the SOC Analyst I include:

Experience in Cyber Security is a plus but not required
1-2 years of experience within an IT Help Desk or Systems Administrator position
Strong communication and ability to interface with senior leadership and customers
CompTIA Security+ Certification is a plus but not required (will need to obtain certification within the first 12 months)

Compensation for the SOC Analyst I includes:

$25-$28 an hour based on experience
Medical, dental and vision benefits
No Corp to Corp (C2C) or Visa sponsorships at this time
