Agilious is seeking a QA Platform Engineer to join our Agile Consulting practice. Our Agile consultants work closely with our customers to support them throughout their project needs. Our goal is to help our clients deliver value quickly and delight their end users by enabling a healthy Agile mindset and practices. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on modernization and technology transformation projects. Level of Experience: >= 3-5 years of experience

Residency Requirements: US Citizens, US Permanent Residents, EAD and H1-B Accepted *Must have US Residency for a minimum of 3 years

Clearance: US Federal Government Public Trust Clearance Required

Passing Codility Exam Required: Candidates must successfully complete and pass a Codility exam as part of the application process

Responsibilities

Build and maintain compliance pipelines with built-in quality gates
Continuously automatically gather metrics for application quality for the enterprise-wide portfolio of applications
Provide QA services on a project basis
Participates in large-scale day-to-day operational activity.
Contribute to daily stand-up meetings and sprint retrospectives
Other similar professional duties assigned as needed

Requirements

Proven software development skills using modern computing languages such as Python, JavaScript, and Java
Expertise in web technologies and experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD
Experience in automating tests (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
Ability to implement frameworks and utilities to support deployment, testing, and monitoring
Strong coding skills in at least one programming language is required. The project uses Python, Javascript/Typescript, C++, some Kotlin and Scala and a bit of Golang and Rust.

Bonus Technical Skills

Familiarity with build tools and various web, RPC and other frameworks
Experience with design patterns in coding and architecture
OpenShift, Anthos, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS), Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), Hashicorp Nomad
Observability tools such as Prometheus, EFK (ElasticSearch, fluentd, Kibana), TIGK (Telegraph, InfluxDB, Graphana, Kapacitor), DataDog, Sensu, Jaeger, Sentry, OpsGenie, PagerDuty.
Service mesh technologies such as Istio, Linkerd
Kafka, Apache Pulsar, RabbitMQ, Amazon Kinesis, Apache Flume, Apache Storm, Apache Spark Streaming, Google Cloud Pub/Sub
GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket, Teamcity, Artifactory, or equivalent products for management of Git source control, CI/CD pipelines and artifact lifecycle management.
Secret Management tools such as Hashicorp Vault, CyberArk, Azure Key Vault, Google Cloud Secret Manager or equivalent

Education

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, mathematics, physics, or related discipline
