Our client is looking to augment their team with a Remote, AWS Cloud Engineer / Architect to assist in the implementation of their mission-critical GovCloud / FedRAMP compliant cloud-based systems.

East coast time preferred.

Requirements:

5-10+ years of overall experience, including 3-5 hands-on with AWS
Experience with AWS GovCloud and/or U.S. Government cybersecurity standards and methodologies (FedRAMP, FISMA, CMMC, NIST 800's, etc.)
Experience with Cloud monitoring and analytics tools (such as CloudWatch, Datadog, Okta, Splunk)
AWS Certification preferred (Solutions Architect / Associate / etc.)
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team environment.

Description:

Position reports directly to the Chief Information Security Officer
Design/deploy/maintain cloud infrastructure solutions based on requirements and best practices.
Implement/operate/monitor security, health, performance and logging tools for cloud environments.
Monitor/improve/optimize cloud infrastructure health, performance, and security.
Ensure compliance with security policies and implement appropriate security controls to protect cloud environments.
