We are currently working on various projects ranging from cutting-edge Generative AI to Computer Vision applications, and the first product we are planning to launch by the end of this year is a RAG platform tailored to the Korean market.

Position Overview:

As a Backend Software Engineer, you will be working to design, build, and maintain a robust infrastructure that supports our RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) application. This role requires a blend of expertise in cloud services, system architecture, security, and software development to ensure scalable, efficient, and secure implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Design and Development: Architect and develop scalable and secure infrastructure that supports the RAG application's needs. This involves collaboration in selecting appropriate cloud services, designing database schemas, and integrating various data sources and APIs.
Cloud Deployment and Management: Deploy applications and services to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Manage cloud resources, monitor performance, and optimize costs.
Automation and Orchestration: Implement automation tools and frameworks (like Terraform, Ansible, or Kubernetes) to streamline the deployment and management of infrastructure.
Security Implementation: Ensure all aspects of the infrastructure adhere to security best practices, including managing access controls, data encryption, and compliance with data protection regulations.
Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment of the RAG application components.
Performance Tuning: Monitor system performance and make adjustments to infrastructure to improve efficiency and reduce latency.
Collaboration and Documentation: Work closely with our developers to understand their infrastructure needs. Document all processes and maintain records for system architectures and deployments.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience in cloud architecture, network systems, and scalable infrastructure development.
Strong understanding of major cloud service providers.
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, including Kubernetes.
Strong programming skills (preferably in Python) with an emphasis on designing for reliability and scale, and writing well-tested components.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

3+ years of experience
Additional certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Google Professional Cloud Architect) which demonstrate a deeper understanding and capability in cloud services

The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $100,000 - $225,000 + benefits and bonus. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

You are also subject to the company incentive policy, of a 0-50% bonus determined by your KPIs.
