Job Overview:

We are seeking a visionary and strategic Director of Business Development to lead our efforts in expanding Bagel's market presence and forging strategic partnerships. This role requires expertise in either AI, blockchain, or data privacy, with the willingness to quickly ramp up on the others. As the Director of Business Development, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth, building relationships with key stakeholders, and positioning Bagel as the leading decentralized AI platform.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy that aligns with Bagel's mission and goals. Identify new market opportunities and create actionable plans to penetrate these markets.
Partnerships and Alliances: Build and maintain strategic partnerships with enterprises, AI researchers, data providers, and decentralized compute networks. Leverage these relationships to enhance Bagel's ecosystem and drive adoption.
Sales Leadership: Lead and mentor a high-performing business development team. Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and ensure the team meets or exceeds revenue targets.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Use insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.
Product Advocacy: Act as a champion for Bagel's products and services. Clearly articulate the value proposition to potential clients and partners, demonstrating how Bagel solves critical problems in AI development.
Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth through the acquisition of new customers and the expansion of existing accounts. Develop pricing strategies and negotiate contracts that maximize profitability.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 5 years in business development or a related field within the tech industry. Proven track record of successful partnerships and revenue growth.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
Skills:
Expertise in either AI, blockchain, or data privacy, with a willingness to quickly ramp up on the others.
