Role Overview: As a Founding Engineer specializing in Mobile Infrastructure and DevOps at Meetsta, you will play a critical role in shaping the infrastructure and deployment processes for our mobile applications. You will work closely with our developers and operations team to create a robust and scalable mobile infrastructure. This role requires a strong background in DevOps practices, mobile application development, and cloud technologies. As a founding team member, you will have the unique opportunity to influence the direction and success of our platform from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Management:

Design, implement, and manage scalable and reliable mobile application infrastructure.
Automate deployment processes to streamline releases and reduce downtime.
Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and security of mobile applications and infrastructure.

CI/CD Pipeline Development

Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for mobile applications.
Ensure seamless integration of code changes and efficient deployment to production environments.
Implement automated testing and quality assurance processes within the CI/CD pipeline.

Collaboration And Support

Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to identify and resolve issues.
Provide technical support and guidance to developers on best practices for mobile DevOps.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on infrastructure-related changes.

Monitoring And Incident Management

Set up and manage monitoring tools to track application performance and detect issues proactively.
Develop incident response plans and participate in on-call rotations to address critical issues.
Analyze and resolve production incidents, ensuring minimal impact on users.

Security And Compliance

Implement and maintain security best practices for mobile applications and infrastructure.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations for data protection and privacy.
Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate risks.

Qualifications

Experience:

3+ years of experience in DevOps, with a focus on mobile application deployment and management.
Proven experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Skills

Strong knowledge of mobile application development and deployment processes (iOS and Android).
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk).
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
