Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Python-Oriented Financial Cloud Tech Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python programming, cloud technologies, and financial systems. This role involves providing technical support, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of our cloud-based financial solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical support to clients and internal teams for cloud-based financial applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Python scripts, cloud infrastructure, and financial data processing.
Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability of financial applications.
Collaborate with development teams to identify and fix bugs, implement enhancements, and optimize performance.
Develop and maintain documentation for support processes, troubleshooting guides, and user manuals.
Assist in the deployment and configuration of cloud-based financial solutions.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve support services.
Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support coverage.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in technical support, preferably in the financial technology sector.
Strong proficiency in Python programming and scripting.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Familiarity with financial data and indices, including equities, futures, and options.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with financial data APIs and data processing libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Understanding of database systems, both SQL and NoSQL.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
