Our client is seeking a highly motived technology leader to work within the technology team. The role will be responsible for designing and implementing secure, scalable, and reliable cloud-based infrastructure using private cloud, Azure, AWS, and MS365 technologies. Success in this role requires expertise in managing Azure, Microsoft 365, and VMware VCenter, along with experience in both network and Windows administration. A deep understanding of cloud technologies and security standards is crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning: Develop and implement IT infrastructure strategies that align with the organization’s goals, covering cloud, server, storage, availability, and performance.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, including the Service Desk Team and System Administrator Team, ensuring effective collaboration and high performance.
Server and Network Management: Ensure optimal performance and uptime of servers, and collaborate with the network engineering team to maintain network performance and availability.
Data Center Transition: Lead the transition from the current VMware-based environment to a hosted private cloud environment.
Hardware, Software, and Service Procurement: Oversee the selection, installation, and maintenance of hardware, software, and services.
Data Backup and Recovery: Establish and maintain data backup and recovery strategies, ensuring processes and procedures are consistently executed to safeguard organizational data.
Security Management: Implement and maintain security measures in partnership with the cybersecurity organization to protect IT systems and data.
Project Management: Manage IT infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Cost Management: Ability to manage budgets and optimize costs without compromising on quality or performance.
Performance Monitoring: Regularly test and monitor the performance of IT systems to proactively identify and resolve issues.
Collaboration with Acquisition Team: Work closely with the Acquisition team to ensure IT infrastructure supports and integrates seamlessly with new acquisitions, facilitating smooth transitions and alignment with organizational standards.

Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree
10+ years' experience in the IT Cloud and Infrastructure field
Experience with Azure environment
5+ years of experience managing technology teams
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
Detail Oriented
Excellent problem-solving skills
