HHM CPAs is seeking a motivated Systems Administrator to join our team and help maintain and optimize our IT infrastructure.

This individual will have a hunger to learn and take on increasing responsibility in their IT career along with possessing 3 major traits: self-starting, assertiveness, and resourcefulness.

This position is on-site in Chattanooga, TN.

Responsibilities:

Administer, monitor, and maintain the company's local and cloud-based server infrastructure, ensuring high availability and reliability.
Manage and troubleshoot network systems, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN connections.
Set up and maintains user access.
Install, configure, and update server hardware and software, as well as manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve efficiency.
Write documentation for user-training and support.
Respond to and resolve helpdesk tickets related to IT systems, applications, and hardware issues.
Collaborate with the IT team to plan and implement system upgrades, patches, and security updates.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to recommend and implement innovative solutions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
3+ years of proven experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar role.
Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure), O365, Exchange, Intune, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Defender, Azure Virtual Desktop
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Strong knowledge of Windows server operating systems.
Experience with networking protocols and concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash) for automation tasks.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate) are a plus.
