Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000 (plus car and commission)

Position Overview

Matrix Home Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Plan Review Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and regulations, with the ability to accurately measure and survey sites. The role requires a candidate who can effectively review construction plans, secure client material selections, and manage change orders for upgrades and changes to the scope of work. Experience in sales and client relations is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately measure and survey project sites for accuracy.
Demonstrate a general knowledge of construction processes, procedures, and MEPs (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing).
Possess a solid understanding of building codes and regulations.
Ability to read, interpret, and review construction plans.
Collaborate with clients to review and secure material selections.
Submit and secure change orders for any upgrades or changes to the scope of work.
Availability for some evenings and weekends as needed to meet project deadlines and client needs.

Requirements

Qualifications:

General knowledge of construction processes and MEPs.
Familiarity with building codes and regulations.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measuring and surveying sites.
Experience in sales and client relations is a plus.
Availability for evening and weekend work as needed.
