The Property Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of residential or commercial properties on behalf of property owners. Responsible for maintaining property value, attracting tenants, and ensuring a positive tenant experience, the Property Manager is essential to the success and profitability of real estate investments.

Key responsibilities

Manage all aspects of assigned properties, including maintenance, rent collection, and tenant relations
Develop and implement strategies to maximize property occupancy and rental income
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Conduct regular property inspections and address maintenance issues in a timely manner
Handle lease agreements, renewals, and terminations
Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and expense control
Supervise property staff and contractors
Resolve tenant concerns and issues professionally and efficiently
Coordinate marketing and advertising efforts to attract prospective tenants
Implement and enforce property policies and procedures
Negotiate contracts and service agreements with vendors and service providers

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Real Estate Management, Business Administration, or related field
Proven work experience as a Property Manager or similar role
Deep understanding of property management regulations and best practices
Strong financial acumen and budget management skills
Excellent knowledge of property maintenance and facility management processes
Proficiency in property management software and MS Office
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
Knowledge of marketing and leasing techniques

Detail-oriented and highly organized
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with legal and ethical standards for property management
