Context Of Role

This role has no management responsibility and works under the instruction of IT Leadership. Whilst following established practices and processes, the System Administrator will need to carry out work using their own initiative, which will require frequent reactive and proactive communication with any staff member to give and receive updates on outstanding tasks and Incidents. Internal contact will be with all members of the business and IT leadership to ensure that work is completed accurately. The candidate needs to have a professional yet friendly and approachable manner

Duties And Responsibilities, But Not Limited To The Following

Analyze organizational needs and assist in the implementation and support of company computer
Perform user and computer administration tasks in support of company computer
Install hardware and software, coordinate utilization of software and
Investigate and resolve software, hardware, or other equipment
Support the IT team as a third (3) tier support role – Assist tier one (1) and tier (2) technical support
Maintain documentation on support tickets, purchases, inventory, procedures and other functions as
Maintain endpoint / client device security (updates, patches, ) by administering patch management systems.
Coordinate the referral and routing of work orders to appropriate technical or service personnel for repairs, training and follow-up.
Administer AB Data’s MDM (Mobile Device Management) system for company mobile
Assist IT Operations Teams with scheduled maintenance and administration tasks on
Assist IT operations team with special projects and tasks as
Enforce AB Data information security, compliance, regulatory requirements, and
Work with IT Teams to create automations scripts to reduce human error and increase operational

Perform System Administration Tasks on company IT Telephony systems (office and call center systems)
Serve on AB Data’s CERT (Computer Emergency Response Team)
On-Call Rotation – Work with the IT Team to serve on the after ours on-call support team rotation
Other Tasks as required to support the IT Department
Assist Building services with various
- Entry systems
- Security cameras
- Conference Room Equipment

Requirements

An associate degree in Information Systems or Computer Science or combination of directly related work experience commensurate to 3-5 years or experience equivalent is preferred.

This position requires continuing technical education and optional certifications to meet department goals and standards.

SALARY RANGE: $70,000-$90,000 (based on experience and qualifications)
