We are excited to introduce a newly created position in our client's organisation: Program Vice President, New Fleet Introduction. Reporting directly to the VP of Asset Management, you’ll lead the Program Management Office (PMO) and oversee the full scope of a pilot railroad electrification program. This includes new Rolling Stock procurement, securing financing, infrastructure construction, and ensuring seamless integration into daily operations.

As the driving force behind this high-profile program, you’ll manage key interdependencies and ensure all workstreams align with the overall program objectives. You’ll be responsible for program management, cost control, stakeholder communication, and ensuring safety and compliance across all aspects of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the PMO, overseeing project management, financials, and progress reporting.
Manage multiple major Rolling Stock programs concurrently, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
Foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment while working closely with internal and external stakeholders.

About You:

10+ years of experience in Rolling Stock or Railway Infrastructure project management.
Proven expertise in program management, project controls, and stakeholder engagement.
A passion for quality, safety, and building strong, cross-functional teams.

Location: Boston, MA

Compensation: $190,000 – $220,000, plus performance related bonus and a great benefits package including railroad pension.
