SR Engineer/Architect- Extreme Network

Location: Sayre, PA / Binghamton, NY – (Hybrid onsite at least 50%)

Long term ongoing

Extreme switching environment knowledge

Network implementation

Focus of the position: Majority of the day is designing and implementing the Extreme switching

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

· Professional certifications in Avaya - Extreme Networks

· Strong knowledge of Extreme Network devices

· Working experience across Hybrid technologies

· Strong knowledge of network protocols, technologies, and architectures, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, and wireless networks.

· Experience with network design and implementation in enterprise environments.

· Proficient in network troubleshooting tools and techniques.

· Familiarity with network security principles and best practices.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

· Up-to-date knowledge of emerging network technologies and trends.
