Summary

The experienced Senior Security Engineer with a strong background in Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco Firepower, and IPSec site-to-site configurations. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in administering Palo Alto networks and will be responsible for daily security monitoring and issue resolution.

Responsibilities

Manage and configure Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco Firepower security solutions.
Design and implement IPSec site-to-site VPNs for secure connectivity.
Monitor network security daily and respond to security incidents.
Maintain and update firewall rules and policies to ensure network security.
Conduct regular security assessments and audits.
Collaborate with IT teams to enhance overall network security.
Provide training and guidance to junior security staff.
Stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing Palo Alto networks.
In-depth knowledge of Cisco Firepower and IPSec site-to-site VPNs.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator (PCNSE) or higher certification is preferred.
