Position Overview:

We are seeking a Vice President of MAC Software Development to lead and innovate in the development of MAC software solutions. This role involves strategic oversight and direction, focusing on IEEE and Wi-Fi protocols to support the client’s advanced network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Define and drive the strategic vision for MAC software development, with a focus on IEEE standards and Wi-Fi protocols (e.g., 802.11ac, 802.11ax, 802.11be).
Lead and mentor a team of MAC software engineers, ensuring successful project execution and alignment with company goals.
Oversee the design and implementation of MAC software solutions, optimizing performance and scalability.
Collaborate with senior stakeholders, hardware engineers, and product managers to ensure seamless integration of software with hardware components.
Ensure high-quality software development practices and adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Stay abreast of advancements in IEEE and Wi-Fi technologies, integrating new innovations into the company’s products.
Provide expert technical guidance and support during system integration and deployment phases.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
15+ years of experience in software development with a focus on MAC protocols (e.g., IEEE 802.11ac, 802.11ax, 802.11be), including 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
Expertise in embedded systems, C programming, hardware register programming, and Wi-Fi technologies.
Familiarity with Linux kernel preferred.
Strong leadership skills, strategic vision, and exceptional communication abilities.
