We are actively seeking an ICF skilled Legal Specialist located in the greater Chicago area with the following qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a contracts paralegal, clinical trials specialist, etc., focusing on Informed Consent Forms and regulatory compliance.
Experience working closely with Clinical Teams, Research & Development, and external partners to ensure Informed Consent Forms are accurate, complete, and aligned with project requirements.
Substantive experience assisting in the drafting, editing, and review of Informed Consent Forms to ensure they meet legal, regulatory, and institutional requirements.
Skilled in identifying potential risks related to informed consent processes and recommending solutions to mitigate these risks.
Willingness to support a hybrid role requiring three days onsite in Chicago-based office.
Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or other.
Epiq Counsel partners with industry-leading clients in support of their sophisticated interim talent needs. Must be interested in practicing in an alternative, fixed-term legal services model.

Support our multinational corporate client on the following:

Join their R&D team to help analyze data and evaluate what data can be utilized by the client.
Reviewing Informed Consent Forms (and other similar documents), and following the rules set forth by the various internal legal teams (privacy, IP, etc.).
Maintain and organize a comprehensive database of all informed consent forms and related documentation. Ensure documents are easily accessible and properly archived.
Contribute to projects that ensure the protection of patient rights and regulatory compliance.
