You'll join us in providing standardized application development solutions such as source code management, artifact management, and CICD pipelines to our developer teams in line with company architectural and security best practices. Infrastructure & Cloud Services is looking for an intermediate DevOps Engineer to support the automation and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure. This role provides horizontal support across application teams, managing CI/CD pipelines, Docker containerization, Terraform automation, and various cloud-based infrastructures. The candidate will work within established processes to ensure stability, efficiency, and security in an enterprise environment.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

CI/CD Management: Maintain and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Python scripting, ensuring smooth deployment and updates.
Cloud Infrastructure: Manage and enhance cloud infrastructure using Terraform for automation and AWS services (EC2, cloud compute).
Containerization: Create and manage Docker images, working with Kubernetes for orchestration and deploying containerized applications.
Automation: Implement automation for infrastructure deployment using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
Collaborative Support: Work closely with the application development teams to provide infrastructure support and ensure standardized deployments.
Health & Hygiene of Tools: Regularly upgrade and deploy new versions of tools, following change management and operational best practices.

Qualifications:

Minimum 4 years of experience supporting production systems in an enterprise environment
Experience administering GitLab and Artifactory
Strong knowledge of Python and Bash scripting
Experience with CI/CD pipeline tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)
Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
Experience with Linux administration and command-line interfaces
Working knowledge of AWS or other public cloud platforms
Knowledge of Docker for container management and deployment
Familiarity with application monitoring and basic cloud networking concepts

Must-Have Skills:

3-4 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, working with the following:
Experience with GitLab and JFrog Artifactory
CI/CD Pipelines (preferably GitLab CI)
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
Linux Administration (including CLI)
Docker (experience creating Docker images and managing containers)
Kubernetes for orchestration
AWS cloud services (EC2, Cloud Compute)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

AWS Certification
Python scripting
Ansible Tower experience
Familiarity with other cloud platforms like Azure

Soft Skills:

Highly collaborative with strong communication skills
Comfortable with a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Team-oriented and able to take ownership of tasks
Comfortable working with a mix of team members, including new graduates
