We at Awesome Motive are searching for a Human Resource Coordinator responsible for supporting the overall employee experience and managing the day-to-day HR functions like Team Member Engagement, Onboarding, Offboarding, HRIS, Coordinate Benefits, Creating and analyzing reports, and Administrative Tasks.

Common responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Improve/update HR Policies
Serves as a liaison between employees and management
Prepare and distribute HR-related correspondence (reminders, announcements, reports)
Assist with the completion of onboarding formalities
Assist with employee engagement initiatives
Respond to team member inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and other HR-related matters
Support the performance review process
Compile HR data and generate reports as required
Administer benefits plans, including enrollment, changes, and terminations
Assist in creating policies, processes, and documents

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within an HR department
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English)
Basic knowledge of HR processes, principles, standard policies, and best practices
Proficiency in using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and/or Google Docs, and HRIS software
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize
Discretion and professionalism when dealing with confidential information
Personal Computer with Internet Access
Availability to participate in audio/video meetings between the hours of 9 am - 5 pm ET

Bonus points if you also have:

Relevant Certification or coursework in Human Resources
Knowledge of WordPress

Location

This is a remote position - our team is spread around the globe! Our home base is in Florida, USA, so company operating hours are 9am - 5pm ET (UTC -5). Although complete coverage isn't mandatory, you should be accessible for some portion of the hours between 9 am and 12 pm ET.
