Director of Information Technology

CPS Recruitment has an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Director of Information Technology in the North Syracuse, NY area.

In this role, you will lead and direct a team of 3, supporting system infrastructure for a well-established and stable manufacturing company. You and your team will provide technical support and solutions for the network and systems of a 70+ person organization.

Duties include:

Oversight of the team, including performance management, department planning and reviews.
Manage relationships with both internal and external customers, suppliers, and 3rd party providers.
Project management and delivery for initiatives in scope and budget for the team.
Maintain disaster recovery process including planning, and coordination.
Actively lead and coach the team to ensure employee involvement and engagement.

Technical responsibilities include oversight and hands-on administration of the following:

Windows Server 2019, VM, Domain Controllers, Veaam, MS SQL Server
Microsoft 365 Suite, MS Teams, Networking – Design, Installation, configuration, security and management
Cloud based ERP System.
Cybersecurity Oversight
Support for desktops, laptops and peripherals
Wireless access points and routers EDI processing

Minimum requirements:

BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Engineering or related technical field
10+ years of progressive IT and leadership experience with a proven track record of success.
Experience in a manufacturing setting highly preferred.
High energy with excellent communication and presentation skills
