The ideal Merchandise Specialist is motivated, results oriented and committed to providing outstanding customer service every day.

A day in the life…

Gather and prioritize information from buying offices for item set up and maintenance  
Enter and maintain merchandising information within Nordstrom's merchandising system, Retek Merchandising System (RMS)
Communicate with buying offices to identify item set up procedures, potential issues and process training
Develop a deep knowledge of merchandising information and Retek Merchandising System (RMS)
Communicate with the distribution centers and vendors in order to follow-up on missing information
Assist with keying item orders and other office administration as requested

You own this if you have…

Bachelor’s Degree, Retail experience or equivalent business acumen
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Analytical and problem solving abilities
Excellent time management skills; ability to prioritize multiple tasks to ensure all deadlines are met
Knowledge and experience with online, retail, merchandising or product development processes, systems and reporting (preferred)

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.

Colorado: $21.25-$34.50 hourly, Connecticut: $24.75-$40.00 hourly, Hawaii: $21.25-$34.50 hourly, Maryland: $24.75- $40.00 hourly, Nevada: $21.25-$34.50 hourly, New York: $24.75-$40.00 hourly, Rhode Island: $21.25-$34.50 hourly, Washington: $24.75- $40.00 hourly, Washington DC: $24.75-$40.00 hourly
