Job Summary:

The Technical Account Manager will be responsible for managing and nurturing the technical relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met with the highest level of service and expertise. This role requires a deep understanding of SCADA systems, IT infrastructure, and OT environments, as well as the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. The Technical Account Manager will act as the primary point of contact for all technical inquiries and issues related to SCADA, IT, and OT solutions, and will work closely with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary technical liaison between clients and the internal technical teams, ensuring clear and effective communication.
Manage and maintain client relationships, providing ongoing support and strategic guidance for SCADA, IT, and OT solutions.
Identify and resolve technical issues related to SCADA, IT, and OT systems, coordinating with internal resources to ensure timely resolution.
Provide technical expertise during the implementation and integration of SCADA, IT, and OT systems, ensuring successful project completion.
Conduct regular client meetings to review system performance, address concerns, and discuss potential upgrades or enhancements.
Assist in the development of customized solutions to meet specific client needs and objectives.
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in SCADA, IT, and OT.
Support the sales team with technical insights and recommendations during the pre-sales process.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of client systems, configurations, and technical requirements.
Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent work experience may be considered.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical account management, technical support, or related role, with a focus on SCADA, IT, and OT systems.
Strong knowledge of SCADA systems, including hardware and software components.
Experience working with industrial control systems (ICS) and cybersecurity best practices for ICS
Strong understanding of network architecture and security, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems (IDS)
Experience with IT and OT environments, including networking, firewalls, cybersecurity, and systems integration.
Willingness to travel up to 50% to customer sites throughout the project and also periodic visits after project delivery to support ongoing support, maintenance, and upgrades
Oil & Gas or Oil Field experience is a plus
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing technical issues.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise language for clients.
Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards in the Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, or similar sectors is a plus.
Professional certifications such as CCNA, CISSP, or GICSP are preferred but not required.
