Responsible for identifying requirements, determining solutions, and providing the architectural design for the development and deployment of a NG 9-1-1 solution to operate as a Comtech-owned cloud service. This effort includes leading a team of senior engineers in the development of the core operational cloud-based infrastructure, SIP signaling networks, NG9-1-1 location and routing elements and systems management components.
• Utilize DEVOPS automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible to deploy cloud-based services within a nationwide cloud architecture.
• Architect and deploy a central NSOC capable of monitoring and managing multiple customer deployments within a single management infrastructure adhering to the strictest operational and security standards.
• Develop and design a business and technical case for a full cloud based as-a-service NG9-1-1 NGCS model.
• Provide the management team with design, costing and statistical data to assist in pricing analysis and business case development.
• Provide guidance to Management, engineering and operations teams for the adoption of new architectures.
• Develop architectural models for both isolated and multi-tenant customer NG9-1-1 call processing solutions utilizing the latest industry standards.

• Performed system security assessments using Tenable Security Center.
o Developed automated scripts and manual mitigation procedures to secure Linux and Solaris systems both in the lab and on customer systems at time of deployment.
• Technical lead for product selection and solutions design for RFP responses.
o Storage infrastructure replacement project at 4 USAF Critical information processing centers supporting 900TB of data storage. Inclusive of single site management and analytic systems with a DR site running brocade fiber channel and EMC VNX storage solution. Valued at $2.5 Million, awarded.
• Applied Engineering principles as the Engineering lead for storage and infrastructure projects developing and producing configuration, installation, integration, security assessment and deployment documentation for customer projects inclusive of :
o Installation of EMC VNX and Brocade Fiber Channel switches replacing and migrating 1.2PB of data storage at 22 USAF sites.
o Architect a central NSOC capable of monitoring and managing multiple customer deployments within a single management infrastructure adhering to strict operational and security standards.

Developed seamless integration and data migration strategies to limit the downtime of server reboots for new HBA card installations
• Produce architectural design for integration of VMware virtual infrastructure to replace existing physical environment. Design includes :
