We are seeking an IT Technician to join our team! In this role, you will provide first-level support to our clients. You will serve as the first point of contact for users facing technical problems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of computer systems, a passion for technology, and exceptional problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

Respond to help desk requests via phone, email, and ticketing system, ensuring courteous, timely, and effective resolution of end-user issues
Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues, guiding users through step-by-step solutions
Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams or external vendors
Conduct daily system checks and maintenance routines to ensure optimal system performance
Execute sensitive data backup and restoration procedures
Assist with the creation and updating of help desk documentation, procedures, and user manuals

Qualifications:

A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
Related certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, MCITP) are a plus
Strong technical skills in Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, networking, and remote desktop support
Must be comfortable interacting with non-technical customers
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Deadline and detail-oriented
Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
An eager willingness to learn
Must be available to work in person at the BCS offices in Kilgore, TX
