The Information Security Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing security policies, managing cybersecurity threats, and ensuring the protection of sensitive data. RESPONSIBILITIES

Security Policy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures to protect information systems.
Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement mitigation strategies.
Incident Response: Respond to and manage security incidents, ensuring minimal impact on operations.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements, including data protection laws.
Security Training: Develop and conduct security awareness training programs for employees.
Monitoring and Auditing: Implement monitoring and auditing processes to detect and respond to security threats.
Collaboration: Work closely with IT and other departments to ensure security measures are integrated into all aspects of the business.
Reporting: Provide regular reports on security status and incidents to senior management.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

Proven experience as an Information Security Manager, IT Security Officer, or similar role, with a strong background in startup environments.
Experience in PropTech or real estate is highly preferred.
In-depth knowledge of information security principles, practices, and technologies.
Experience with risk assessment and management.
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are a plus.
BSc/BA in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
