The Information Security Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing security policies, managing cybersecurity threats, and ensuring the protection of sensitive data. This role is perfect for individuals with extensive startup experience, preferably in PropTech or real estate, and a passion for safeguarding information systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Security Policy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures to protect information systems.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement mitigation strategies.
- Incident Response: Respond to and manage security incidents, ensuring minimal impact on operations.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements, including data protection laws.
- Security Training: Develop and conduct security awareness training programs for employees.
- Monitoring and Auditing: Implement monitoring and auditing processes to detect and respond to security threats.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT and other departments to ensure security measures are integrated into all aspects of the business.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports on security status and incidents to senior management.
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
- Proven experience as an Information Security Manager, IT Security Officer, or similar role, with a strong background in startup environments.
- Experience in PropTech or real estate is highly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of information security principles, practices, and technologies.
- Experience with risk assessment and management.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are a plus.
- BSc/BA in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
