Position: Systems Administrator
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled
Systems Administrator to join their team! This role will focus on managing and deploying a variety of IT systems, including Azure infrastructure, Entra ID, and Intune, while providing key support for hardware, networks, and users. The company offers a dynamic environment with opportunities for growth and innovation in system administration.
Responsibilities:
- Lead or assist in deploying IT systems such as servers, network connections, hardware, and telephony systems.
- Perform daily monitoring to ensure hardware, applications, and key processes are operational.
- Provide tier 2 and 3 support for hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Manage user and system accounts, including access permissions, as requested.
- Develop and maintain essential PowerShell scripts.
- Communicate planned maintenance, service outages, and restoration updates.
- Research and recommend innovative and automated system administration solutions.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proficiency in cloud systems administration, including experience with configuring, managing, and troubleshooting cloud-based infrastructure
- Strong understanding of server operating systems and IT ecosystems.
- Experience with cloud-based IAM.
- Experience managing DNS, DHCP, WDS, WSUS, and DFS.
- Proficient in Active Directory administration and Azure Active Directory/Entra ID.
- Experience with VMware vCenter and network equipment configuration.
- Knowledge of backup and recovery platforms and familiarity with WMI and SNMP for system monitoring.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Certifications like A+, Network+, Security+, or MCSA.
- Basic experience with Linux server administration.
