Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Network Administrator at Wurth IT USA (3 days onsite). This position plays a key role in managing and maintaining our organization’s IT network. They are responsible for ensuring seamless data communication and network infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Develop and administer our wired and wireless networks worldwide.
- Design, deploy and maintain enterprise network architecture.
- Ensure the operation of our networks, perform updates, and handle maintenance.
- Analyze current issues and troubleshoot in the third level support.
- Identify the needs of our customers, propose and implement solutions.
- Deploy network security techniques.
- Monitor our systems and proactively react on incidents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Network Administrator
- Extensive experience in routing and switching technologies (CCNP level of experience).
- Extensive ability in troubleshooting and network incident resolution, looking beyond the obvious and not stopping at the first answer.
- Hands-on experience with leading network vendors and their current product portfolio.
- Technical capability and ability to learn new technologies and solutions.
- Experience with wireless LAN solutions.
- Excellent communication interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with people abroad.

Location
Wurth IT USA is in the process of identifying its location in Chicago, IL. We will be in one of the northern suburbs, likely in Deerfield/Buffalo Groves/Vernon Hills area. This position requires onsite work 2-3 days per week. Since we do not have a location yet, the position will start working remotely and transition to a hybrid work environment once the office is set up. Please note relocation assistance is not provided.
