Role Description
This is a contract Sr Data Centre Engineer role located in San Mateo, CA, with flexibility for some remote work. The Sr Data Centre Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with data center operations, troubleshooting, technical support, cabling, and data center infrastructure. This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that the Sr Data Centre Engineer will work onsite but some work from home is acceptable.
Qualifications
- Data Center Operations, Troubleshooting, Technical Support skills
- Cabling and Data Center Infrastructure skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with server hardware and operating systems
- Knowledge of network technologies and protocols
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
