Position Overview: The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will be responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of the company, leading the development and implementation of our technology strategy, and ensuring that our platform meets the highest standards of performance, security, and usability. Key Responsibilities:
Technology Strategy and Vision:
- Develop and execute the company’s technology vision and strategy in alignment with overall business goals.
- Stay abreast of technological advancements and industry trends to ensure the company remains at the forefront of innovation in postpartum care.
Product Development:
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of the company’s digital products and platforms.
- Ensure the technology solutions are scalable, secure, and user-friendly, meeting the needs of new mothers and healthcare professionals.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing technology team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and professional development of technical staff.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate closely with other executive team members to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
- Communicate technology strategy to partners, investors, and other stakeholders.
Operational Management:
- Oversee the development and maintenance of the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring robust performance, security, and data privacy.
- Implement best practices for software development, project management, and quality assurance.
Budget and Resource Management:
- Manage the technology budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost-effective solutions.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies and tools that enhance productivity and user experience.
Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure all technology practices comply with relevant laws and regulations, particularly in healthcare and data privacy.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with technology operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a CTO or in a similar senior technology leadership role, preferably within the healthcare or wellness industry.
- Strong technical background with expertise in software development, cloud computing, data analytics, and cybersecurity.
- Demonstrated success in developing and launching technology products from concept to market.
