Responsibilities - System Administration:
- Manage and maintain Unix/Linux systems ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Perform kernel parameter tuning to optimize system performance.
- Automation:
- Develop and implement automation scripts using Ansible for system configuration, deployment, and management.
- Create automated build and deployment scripts to streamline processes.
- Performance Testing:
- Conduct system performance testing to identify bottlenecks and performance issues.
- Analyze and report on system performance metrics, providing actionable recommendations for improvements.
- Security:
- Ensure the security and integrity of systems through thorough understanding and implementation of security best practices.
- Identify and address system vulnerabilities and security threats.
- Deployment:
- Oversee the build and deployment processes, ensuring smooth and efficient rollouts of updates and new applications.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of software solutions.
Required Skills And Qualifications
- Expert-level proficiency in Unix/Linux system administration.
- Extensive experience with kernel parameter tuning.
- Proven ability to automate system tasks using Ansible.
- Strong background in system performance testing and issue identification.
- Skilled in creating automated build and deployment scripts.
- In-depth understanding of system security practices and protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
