Job Title: Forensic Security Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated Forensic Security Analyst - Threat Investigator to join our team and lead the fight against threats within the online ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth investigations involving online harassment, hate speech, cheating, botting, account breaches, and other malicious activities targeting the online community.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed, providing them with actionable intelligence and digital evidence.
- Analyze vast amounts of online data, including internal datasets, open-source intelligence (OSINT), and third-party private intelligence, to identify emerging abuse trends, understand adversarial behavior, and develop actionable enforcement strategies.
- Leverage your deep understanding of online culture, vernacular, and societal context to uncover hidden threats and malicious activity within online environments.
- Proactively hunt for undetected threats and abuse utilizing advanced investigative techniques, including digital forensics methods.
- Develop and implement innovative analytic methodologies.
- Lead the creation of clear and concise reports, presenting complex findings to senior leadership and, when necessary, to law enforcement.
- Champion operational excellence within the security team, identifying opportunities for improvement specific to the online environment.
- Address sensitive content issues impacting the online space, including graphic content, offensive language, and objectionable material.
- Utilize security threat intelligence tools and techniques.
- Utilize Open-Source Intelligence Tools (OSINT) to conduct comprehensive investigations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in security investigations (government, intelligence, journalism, or private sector) with a strong understanding of online culture.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Criminal Justice, Political Science, Intelligence Studies, or equivalent experience.
- Proven ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative data, identify trends, and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
- Experience leveraging SQL, OSINT techniques, and security concepts for investigations.
- Experience applying digital forensics principles to preserve and analyze digital evidence relevant to criminal activity within online environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to tailor reports for diverse audiences within the corporate industry and law enforcement.
- Experience working independently and prioritizing tasks with minimal oversight.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with scripting languages like Python or PHP in an online environment.
- Proven track record of conducting large-scale data analysis using data tools.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams across multiple locations and time zones.
- Familiarity with online threats, influence operations research methodologies, and current trends within the online space.
- Experience with open-source investigation techniques and familiarity with online communities.
- Bilingual or Multilingual
