Job Description
The Vice President of North American Sales will be responsible for managing all aspects of the traditional, national account, and commercial sales channels for our company's Windows Business Unit. The ideal candidate must possess a positive attitude and relentless passion for growing the assigned business. This role is a primary member of the windows leadership team and is key in developing and implementing strategies to drive financial results.
Principal Duties And Responsibilities
- Establish and implement sales strategies to support sales and profit growth across assigned sales channels and the company's enterprise.
- Develop annual sales plans and associated regional sales budgets.
- Manage all sales team members and processes.
- Cultivate and foster strong working relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
- Attend and participate in key trade and customer events.
- Train, mentor, and motivate the sales team.
- Coach and develop future leaders of the business.
- Ability to manage and plan multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.

Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business, Management, or a related field.
- Seven (7) to ten (10) years of relevant experience in the consumer durable products industry through sales, product management, or marketing.
- Master’s (MBA) Degree in a relevant field is required.
- Experience in developing and driving a sales channel; developing programs and building long-term relationships.
- Experience in developing and deploying strategic initiatives to profitably expand and grow a business.
- Solid computer skills with experience in the Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word Processing, and PowerPoint presentations.
Must Have
- Master’s (MBA) Degree in a relevant field.
- 7-10 years of relevant experience in the consumer durable products industry through sales, product management, or marketing.
- Experience in developing and driving a sales channel; developing programs and building long-term relationships.
- Experience in developing and deploying strategic initiatives to profitably expand and grow a business.
- Proven ability to drive top-line growth in a small to medium-sized customer base versus high volume sales with a handful of large-scale retail chains.
- Demonstrated success in the growth and development of a national sales force.
- Experience in the building materials manufacturing space.
- Solid computer skills with experience in the Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word Processing, and PowerPoint presentations.
