Title: Network Engineer
Location: Mineloa, NY (Hybrid)
Pay Range: $55 - $70
Day to Day:
Insight Global is looking a Network Engineer for one of our largest Healthcare clients in New York. This resource will be responsible for daily support of Medical Center's data network providing support for all network problem troubleshooting and resolution. He/She will ensures the smooth operation of communication networks in order to provide maximum performance and availability. This can include: troubleshooting and repair of routers, switches and all data communications software and hardware supporting the local area, wide area and wireless network infrastructure, performs routine maintenance and code upgrades for network systems, monitors systems alerts, performance and utilization reporting, network problem management, reporting and escalation, etc.
Must Haves:
* 3-5 years of experience as a Network Engineering
* Strong Cisco experience (Routing, Switching)
* Extensive experience with connectivity troubleshooting, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, L2/L3 protocols, WAN connectivity and protocols, etc.
* Experience with monitoring tools (Preferably SolarWinds)
* Ability to communicate well in written and verbal form
