For more information, visit us at Job Title: SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR The System Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining Gibson's Information Technology Infrastructure which includes: Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Cisco phone/Unity system, servers, storage, backups, networks and security solutions. Responsibilities: Manage Microsoft 365 environments including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams Manage Cisco Phone system, Cisco Unity system and Voicemail server Manage EDR and other security solutions Maintain internal/external connectivity between sites including redundant Internet lines, support remote locations Ensure network stability/efficiency as new solutions are added to the infrastructure (i.e., VoIP, video conferencing, etc.) Monitor servers and network services on a daily basis to ensure optimal performance Manage and maintain all on premise servers including Active Directory and Print Servers Manage cloud hosted resources on OCI Maintain and ensure organized network closets/racks Create images for laptop and desktop deployments Administer Active Directory users and groups Administer desktop/laptop management of Windows updates Responsible for end-user support with hardware/software/network issues Generate technical reports, memos and instructional materials for end-users Perform scheduled after-hours maintenance as needed Respond to after-hours emergencies as needed Adhere to all policies and procedures covered in the IT Operations group Analyze and resolve faults ranging from a major system crash to a forgotten password Requirements: Minimum of 3-5 years of IT experience, desktop/laptop, network and server support Full-time position to work in office (2410 Yates Avenue, Commerce CA 90040) five days of week Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Excellent knowledge of Windows Active Directory, permissions, groups and server support Knowledge of virtualization platforms - servers (VMware, Microsoft) and desktops Experience with Exchange 365 management and email troubleshooting Excellent working knowledge of Windows server and Microsoft applications Solid understanding of Ethernet and TCP/IP, routing, DNS, VLANs, etc. Experience/Knowledge of Firewall and VPN configurations and network troubleshooting Maintain high level of confidentiality with all the Team Member related security and safety matters. Knowledge of cloud hosted providers such as OCI and Azure Ability to work under pressure in a high volume and fast paced environment.
